Thank you for choosing Internetty as your new fibre broadband provider.
Your home is connected to OFNL’s ultrafast full fibre network, delivering high-speed fibre broadband directly into your home.
In this short video, we’ll show you how to quickly set up your internet using the router we’ve sent you and your OFNL Optical Network Terminal, known as the ONT.
First, we need to find the OFNL modem in your home. This is a white box usually installed by the front door, in a hallway cupboard, under the stairs, or in a utility area. Look for a box with the letters ‘OFNL’ on it that looks like this.
Once you have located your ONT, you are ready to unbox your Internetty router. In the box you will find your router, a yellow Ethernet cable, a power adapter, and a wifi card with your Internetty wifi SSID and wifi password. Please keep this safe.
You may also find a grey RJ11 cable. You only need this cable if you have ordered telephone services; otherwise, you can put this cable to one side.
Connect one end of the yellow Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the bottom of the ONT. Ensure the ONT is connected to power and is switched on with the power button underneath. The WAN light on the ONT, top left, should be solid green. If it is off or flashing, then this indicates a problem. Please contact us in this instance.
Plug the other end of the yellow Ethernet cable into the blue-labelled WAN port on the back of your router. If your Ethernet cable is connected to any other port, your internet will not work.
Connect the power adapter to your router and plug it in. Your router should now power up, and within a couple of minutes, the lights should come on.
You should now be online and ready to connect your wifi devices to your router using the wifi SSID and password on the wifi card provided.
If you need any further help or support with your devices, then please do get in touch. You can contact our technical support team via online chat at internetty.uk or call us on 0333 102 0020.
Once again, thank you for choosing Internetty as your new fibre broadband provider.
