Terms and Conditions for Communal Wi-Fi Service
The General Terms of Service ("Terms"") may be updated from time to time. We will inform you by email of important changes to your Agreement.
Please also take a look at our Privacy and Fair and Acceptable Use Policies, which are also an important part of your Agreement with us. You can find these documents on the Internetty website: www.internetty.uk
- Acceptance of Terms
- By accessing and using the communal Wi-Fi service provided by Internetty, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.
- You understand that Standard Services which are provided under a Landlord agreement that you are not directly our customer.
- Service Description
- Internetty provides a communal Wi-Fi service that allows users to access the internet within the specified communal area and in-home/business areas by Wi-Fi access points places around the multi-tenanted building, sometimes these Wi-Fi access points may also be located within your home for better or additional coverage.
- Sometimes we will provide additional equipment or router to provide the upgraded service and this will form part of the same terms and contitions, we will co-ordinate with the landlord to provide the required permissions to complete this work;
- Service Provisions
- You understand that we can only provide upgraded services and access to services if we are also providing the Standard Service. If we suspend or end the Standard Service for any reason, your Upgrade Services will no longer work.
- We will not accept any responsibility for any such non-availability of the Standard Services
- You can report faults with the landlord service to us directly, we can pass on costs directly to yourself if they fall outside of the landlord agreement;
- User Responsibilities
- Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their devices and ensuring that their use of the communal WiFi service complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Users must not engage in any illegal or prohibited activities, including but not limited to unauthorized access, transmission of malware, or violation of copyright laws.
- Users must not share with other residents their uniquely assigned login details.
- To keep any equipment that has been provided un-damaged and in working order; We reserve the right to pass on any changes for damage to our equipment or infrastructure no used in accordance with its operating standards.
- Our Responsibilities
- Internetty and the Landlord will interact with each other in relation to any installation issues.
- For access to Communal Wi-Fi provided services we will send a text message to the registered mobile number with your unique login details.
- Network Security
- Users are prohibited from attempting to breach the security of the communal WiFi network. Any unauthorized access, hacking, or other malicious activities will result in immediate termination of service and legal action.
- Content Filtering
- Internetty reserves the right to implement content filtering measures to block access to illegal or inappropriate content. Users may not attempt to bypass these filters.
- Service Interruptions
- Internetty is not liable for any interruptions, outages, or disruptions in the communal WiFi service, and users acknowledge that the service may be subject to maintenance and technical issues.
- Termination of Service
- Internetty reserves the right to terminate the communal WiFi service to any user for violation of these terms and conditions or any applicable laws.
- The landlord asks us to if their agreement with us permits this action.
- The landlord agreement ends.
- You may be allowed to order other services direct from us if the landlord agreement changes, we will let you know if this is possible.
- Suspension
- If you fail to pay for an Upgrade Service we retain the right to restrict, suspend or terminate the service provided;
- While the upgraded service is restricted, suspended or terminated we also reserves the right to apply the same action to the Standard Service until the Upgraded Service has been bought up to date.
- Equipment
- All equipment provided to enable the Landlord Service or Upgraded Service to work will remain the property of Internetty Ltd.
- If you are asked to return the equipment failure to do so will be payable by you, unless the landlord agreement states otherwise.
- Changes to Terms and Conditions
- Internetty may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the communal WiFi service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
- Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England.
